I’m Claire, aka umeclaire, a first-generation queer Mexican-American comic artist based in Los Angeles, California.

Reconnecting with my childhood love for drawing, I delved into digital art and found immense joy and purpose in creating illustrations and heartfelt comics. As a lifelong fan of manga and graphic novels, I found solace and inspiration in the stories that mirrored my journey of self-discovery. This deep connection to storytelling and representation birthed my current web comic over the moon. Through my work, I strive to inspire others to embrace their authenticity, find magic in life's nuances, and amplify the voices of queer Latine individuals.
